Guard

The THS Colorguard, led by Camryn Hewelt and Alexandra Bean, is a vital part of the Trinity Band program. While they shine during the fall marching season, their winter performances often go unseen. Each year, the guard competes in several NTCA competitions and would love the chance to share their passion.

Traditionally, Trinity Winter Guard has two teams: JV and Varsity. In 2023, Varsity earned the NTCA Scholastic A Bronze Medal, while JV was promoted to the same classification due to consistently high scores—a first in THS history. The guard also won Best Color Guard at the 2022-23 Birdville Marching Competition. During the year 2024-25 the THS guard renamed their teams Crimson and Obsidian for JV and Varsity respectfully. In 2025, Obsidian earned the NTCA Regional AA Gold Medal Earning the highest score in their classification. While Crimson the same year was awarded the NTCA Novice Bronze Medal, this team was made up of 90% of members that have never competed in winterguard before!
